Jesus loves perfectly and heals the whole man

Jesus spit in mud and put it on the blind man's eyes. the mystery behind this is pure love. the blind man was seen as cursed by God because he was blind. people cursed by God were spit on (you can read this in certain parts of the old testiment). Jesus takes this man's shame of probably constantly being spit on by those around him because of his curse and uses it for healing the man heart while He healed his eyes physically. spit was no longer a sign of his curse but of the love of God for him.

How hopeless/scared/lonely/shameful that man must of felt? for everyone to know you are cursed by God. but God came to him. because He is love. and healed the whole man. He healed his eyes and left him feeling pure.

Jesus knows how to love so perfectly! come Jesus and love on us

Amen

Let the Fury of Your Love Burn in Me

I love the gentleness of Jesus. I love the power of His love. And I love that He helps us continue to love when everything in us starts to freak out. I love that His love will not be stopped. I love that He fills us with His Spirit and fills us with the grace and trust in His faithfulness to say "Yes" to letting His love reign in our hearts. Im convinced the enemy's main goal is to stop love. Love never stops. The FULLNESS of the love of Jesus is a constant and consistent flow. What the enemy does is gets us to stop believing in this constant and consistent flow. He can't stop Jesus' love. He can only stop us from receiving it. I LOVE the truth of Jesus. That it doesn't matter what I see or hear; all that matters is the Word of God.

"...breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."
-genesis 2:7

Help me always say "Yes" Jesus. Your love is a constant flow of "Yes, I love you." Nothing stops it. Nothing. No sin, no disease...nothing. You keep loving and You keep loving thru us. Your love casts out fear. Your love destroys the schemes of the devil. Your love breaks thru all barriers. Thank you that I can trust your love in my life. That I can say "Yes" when it doesn't make sense and trust others to say "Yes" when it doesn't make sense. And even if they don't say "Yes" and even when I don't say "Yes", You are still at work bringing Your restoration. And I can say this because You are faithful. You are always faithful.

The flow of Your love destroys the devil and leaves
him completely powerless.
thank You for the cross.

Remember when you first realized I loved you?

I made you for a purpose
I made you for My heart
I made you for this planet
Its all good right from the start
I made you. I made you
With love on My mind.
I love you. I love you.
Keep listening to My heart.
I love you. I love you.
Remember the sweetest start:
When You believed I said "I love you"
And I still love you.
So take My hand and I'll lead you home

a love song to our Savior

when we arrive at eternity's shore
where death is just a memory and tears are no more
we'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
"You're beautiful"

Isaiah 49:6

"It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth."

Psalm 37: 12-15

The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

humble yourselves and let Jesus love you

that mind of Christ is the most beautiful love i have ever known. i can't even describe the fury of His love. describing His love as "furious" has probably been the closest ive been able to describe the intensity of His love and the incredible cleansing of His blood that He's shown me to be true of Him. it is a love that 100% leaves me speechless and in awe. more Jesus.

i had probably the most love filled weekend of my life. i feel He showed me something about Himself...actually it was more of a reminder and an even deeper revelation of something He told in Mozambique:

when you're receiving My love is when My heart and
love for you makes Me the most love drunk.

it is the will of Jesus for us to receive His love. He longs to love us. it pleases God and glorifies Him to let Him love us. He loves it! He loves us!

ask the Father

"And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

"In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you: for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God."
-john 16:23-24, 26-27
Jesus says to be a son to the Father. to not hold back because He made a way for us to come to God. He says don't ask Me! ask the Father! I have made you a son!!! you are My brother and best friend!

the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power

this is how i know the power of God will come to save and help us:

"what does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? can faith save him? if a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
-james 2:14-17

the Words of God carry power. real, honest power that we can trust in. He is real, honest love that we can trust in. what good does it do you if Jesus says i can help you but doesn't? He says He can help you which means He will. "...it is impossible for God to lie...this hope we have as an anchor of the soul..." - Hebrews 6:18-19

the Father whispers

Last weekend while riding the subway downtown i decided to get off about 30 blocks earlier than planned to stop in at Barnes & Noble. I get in the store and head to the top floor where their Christian section of books are. I stopped at the first section cause i saw all the Bibles and just decided to have a look. I quickly decide to continue on to the "book" section and upon turning towards it there is an old man close to me and walking my way. we both look at each other and say a brief "hi" but there was something about this man. He had this look on his face as if he were so excited to see me, as if he had something incredible to tell me. And honestly, i got scared. I quickly walked to where the Christian books were and i could see out of the corner of my eye the man walk past where i was a few times. I never looked directly at him again but i kept feeling as though he were watching me. I had to use the bathroom so i fled to the bathroom. When i came out the man was gone. There was something in this man that terrified me. I felt exposed. I felt like he knew everything about me. But he seemed happy to see me. Jesus has really used this to expose the realities of my heart. I pray for Him to visit me, to heal me, to save me...but in His presence i run, i run scared of what He will see in me. i long to cling to Him like jacob. He is my Father, and a good Father who loves furiously! why should i deny Him His lover? why should i deny myself His love? His Holy Ghost? He is so Holy! so pure! and He longs to hold me and purify me. He doesn't look at us and see filth. He sees the blood of Jesus! we have to pass thru all our brokenness. He is on the other side of that brokenness. His light shines thru my darkness and utterly overtakes it. Hold me Jesus, until i find rest in Your arms. i am I AM's beloved!

For You will light my lamp;
The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
-psalm 18:28

i remember that sweet summer day
when You showed me Your face
and my soul really understood that You loved me.
cause eyes like Those
can't be contained
or Your smile explained
You forgot all my sins saying, "just keep coming"
and i think i finally get
the purpose of a ministering spirit
because all those angels they just kept cheering
and i saw how it made me feel
and that Your love is real
i can't wait for the day to be with You

how You love me
oh how i try to doubt it
but You won't let me believe it
i love when You wake me up at night
just to whisper You love me

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst." He said to them, “Does this offend you?...It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."
-john 6

"just lay with Me"

"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."

Heaven Suffers Violence

i may have posted this a while ago but can't remember. but its good. its something i forget time and time again. i just read it again today in my journal and got encouraged and wanted to share for anyone who reads this. so here's the excerpt:

"Until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence,
and the violent take it by force."
-Matthew 11:12

The violence is found in rest and hearing God. Rest is the opposite of how the devil works. Violence in God's terms doesn't necessarily mean yelling and screaming. Resting in God builds faith and opens our eyes to see clearly. Restful communion with God is violence. It gives us peace and confidence in Jesus to see His glory and know how He really loves us. In this rest and communion with the Holy Spirit, with Jesus, with the Father, we resist the devil and His Kingdom comes. Intimacy. Amen
